Acceptance

By using Krotze you accept these terms. If you do not agree with them, do not use the service.

Prohibited content and use

You may not use Krotze to store, share or distribute content that is illegal under German or EU law, or to plan or commit illegal acts. This includes in particular: child sexual abuse material, content glorifying or inciting violence or terrorism, credible threats, harassment and stalking, unlicensed distribution of copyrighted works, trade in illegal goods, and malware. We have zero tolerance for such content.

Enforcement

We do not read your chats and have no general monitoring obligation. However, when specific content is reported to us or we otherwise become aware of it, we review it and, if it violates these terms or the law, remove it — up to and including deleting entire channels — and may block the service for the users involved. Where the law requires it, we cooperate with law enforcement.

Reporting abuse

To report illegal content or abuse of the service, e-mail abuse@krotze.com. Include the channel invite link or any upload link if you have one, plus a short description. Reports are reviewed promptly and reported content is removed if it violates these terms or the law.

Ephemeral by design

Krotze deletes automatically: channels disappear after their configured inactivity period, uploaded files (including previews) are deleted 24 hours after upload, and each member can open an upload for only a short viewing window. Do not use Krotze to archive anything — deleted content cannot be restored, and we keep no backups of it.

No warranty

Krotze is provided free of charge and “as is”, without warranty of availability or fitness for a particular purpose. We may change or discontinue the service at any time. These terms may be updated; continued use after an update counts as acceptance.
